Can I charge members to stay? How do I make money?

How the program helps hosts make money from RVer's

Updated over 4 months ago

Our program is based on the concept of our members (RVers) supporting small businesses with purchases. Your normal customer base is usually who can travel to you and home in a day's time. With our program, we help you find customers from outside your normal range. These are customers who likely wouldn't have found your location unless they used our program.

We ask all our members to spend a minimum of $30 per stay. We get many reports from our hosts. They see an average spend from our members of anywhere from $60-$100 per stay. I myself have never left a location without spending anything less than $100.

Our hosts generally sell products, tours, tastings, services, and experiences. The second part of this, all we ask you to offer our members, is a parking space, no connections or services required.

We ask you to provide that parking space with no fixed cost for the members. All of our members are "self-contained" meaning they have all they need in their rig. That being said, there are a multitude of things you can charge for. These include hookups, additional night stays, wifi, etc.

So while our program asks you not to charge directly for a member's overnight stay, there are some awesome benefits to inviting them to join you as a new customer!
