What Rig Types Can Join RV Overnights? Are there age restrictions?

Is my rig allowed to join the RV Overnights program? Is it acceptable? Is it too old?

Updated over 3 months ago

When it comes to rigs allowed in our program, any rig that is fully self contained is allowed.

What does this mean?

  • Your unit must have a functioning bathroom facilities and cooking facilities inside the rig.

  • All of our hosts are setup to be boondocking locations, so they will not have bathroom facilities or cooking facilites for you to use, and not all allow outdoor cooking.

Rig Age

  • When it comes to rig age, we have no set restrictions, however, we do ask that your rig be in good condition and fully functioning.

Accepted Rig Types:

  • Class A

  • Class B

  • Class C

  • Travel Trailers

  • Hard Sided Hybrid Trailers

  • Truck Campers

  • Hybrid Expandable Trailers

  • Camper Vans (No Mini Vans)

  • Clamshell and Teardrop Trailers

  • Skoolies (Completed units only)

Un-Accepted Rig Types:

  • Traditional Pop-Up Campers (Soft Sided)

  • Tents

  • Rooftop Tents

  • Sleeping in Cars, Trucks, or Minivans

Portable toilets are allowed, but must be used inside of your RV and only emptied off site and not at host locations.
